Formed in 1975, the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club grew from the desire of a handful of people to continue to share their experiences and improve their photography. Beside fulfilling a social function, the club’s main objective has always been to help amateur photographers to develop and improve their proficiency. Many people find that a photography club fills a gap between the knowledge they acquire from a course in basic photography and the experience they need to operate independently as fulfilled amateur photographers. We invite new members to join APAC by attending one of our meetings, held on Zoom the first and third Mondays of the month. Other activities include regular monthly Photowalks, special events and more.

Impressions Through the Lens — Upcoming at the Kariton Art Gallery
The Abbotsford Photo Arts Club is presenting Impressions Through the Lens, a group exhibition featuring 16 of our talented member photographers and over 30 works spanning an impressive range of subjects and styles.
The show runs April 4–25, 2026 at the Kariton Art Gallery, 2387 Ware Street, Abbotsford, BC. Whether you're a longtime supporter of the club or discovering our community for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the breadth of vision and skill that our members bring to their craft.
We'd love to see you there. The gallery is open Thursday through Saturday, 11am–3pm (closed Sundays and holidays).
The opening reception will be held April 4. Stop by, take your time with the work, and celebrate the photographers behind the lens.
