Formed in 1975, the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club grew from the desire of a handful of people to continue to share their experiences and improve their photography. Beside fulfilling a social function, the club’s main objective has always been to help amateur photographers to develop and improve their proficiency. Many people find that a photography club fills a gap between the knowledge they acquire from a course in basic photography and the experience they need to operate independently as fulfilled amateur photographers. We invite new members to join APAC by attending one of our meetings, held on Zoom the first and third Mondays of the month. Other activities include regular monthly Photowalks, special events and more.
You can check out our Club Calendar for what we have going on.

Major news, APAC & Abbotsford area photographers!
The CAPA Coast-to-Coast Photo Walk is officially back on Saturday, September 19th, and Abbotsford Photo Arts Club is hosting our local meetup! 🍁📸
Whether you’re shooting on a brand-new mirrorless setup, a vintage film camera, or literally just the smartphone in your pocket — you are 100% invited. This isn't a high-stress workshop or a contest for the best gear. It’s a super casual, community walk to explore beautiful Shangrila Farm in Mission, share a few laughs, and capture our corner of beautiful Fraser Valley together!
⏰ When: Saturday, Sept 19 @ 3 pm
🎒 Who should come? ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE. Beginners, pros, kids, grandparents, and anyone who loves taking photos or wants a fun weekend activity with friends.
📍 Where: Meeting at Shangrila Farm at 3 pm
How to Get to Shangrila Farms from Abbotsford: Drive east from Mission on Hwy 7. Turn left (north) onto Sylvester Rd (Husky gas station). Drive about 11.5 km to Hartley Rd, and turn left (west) on Hartley Rd, and then turn right (north) onto Spratt Rd. Shangrila Farm will be about 400 m along Spratt Rd. on your right.
Map: Abbotsford to Shangrila Farm
🎟️ Cost: Admission to Shangrila is $15.00 general admission or $12.00 for Senior (65+). Tickets are purchased at the gate. Abbotsford Photo Arts Club is not charging for the photo walk.
You must Register your spot at this link Abbotsford Photo Arts Club: CAPA Coast to Coast Photo Walk so we know how many people to expect. Bring a friend (or two) and let’s make this huge! 🙌
(If you're a member of APAC we are having a bonus photowalk for members only earlier in the day. Check our calendar for details and register there if you're coming to that one.)
